Administration Division

Collections Accountant (Full-time)
Finance Division has vacancy for team player who is experienced in cash recording activities and collections efforts from government agencies and understands a balance sheet for account analysis and reconciliation. This includes, but is not exclusive to, ensuring the security of assets delivered to the office, making timely bank deposits, recording cash and non-cash receipts to proper customer accounts in the sub-ledger, and ensuring timely collections of receivable assets. Must be highly motivated and self-starter with developed skills to interact with senior and executive management. Children & Youth Services After All program has an opening for an enthusiastic, energetic and experienced Group Leader to work with young teens, adolescents, and youth with Intellectual and developmental disabilities in an innovative after-school program in Kensington, MD. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in ECE, Special Ed, Child Psychology or related field with coursework in Child Development and Curriculum Method, plus 1 year of relevant experience or an approved certification in school-age care (90 hours Certification) and a High School diploma plus at least 5 years of relevant experience. Respite Recruiter (Part-time)
Respite Services is looking for highly organized individual to be a team player and be responsible for recruiting and registering qualified Respite Care Providers, Health Care Professionals and Staffing Agencies. Responsibilities will include, maintaining database to track all licenses, certificates, background checks and other pertinent documents of newly recruited Providers/Professionals/Agencies. Vocational & Day Services has vacancy for individual with custodial experience to work Monday through Friday from 5:45 pm-9:15 pm.  Successful candidate will be required to perform all responsibilities of the job which include detailed cleaning and spray buffing. Support Professional (Full-time)
Vocational & Day Services has vacancy for person who will be responsible for supervising work placements in the community and/or assigned jobs.  The goal is to develop and manage supported employment work and/or in-house production work. The Support Professional position is designed to assist the Vocational Services participants in making job placement a success by training, supervising and supporting the participant while acting as a resource to the employer. Applicant must have a High School diploma or GED equivalency plus 5 years of relevant experience (any 30 relevant credits may be substituted for 1 year of experience) or at least 18 years of age and 6 years of experience (5 of which must be relevant). Team Coordinator (Full-time)
Vocational & Day Services has an exciting position for person who will be responsible for the development of quality community based work/volunteer/recreational opportunities for people supported by V&DS. The work/volunteer/recreational opportunities will need to foster and promote people with IDD to connect with the community in meaningful ways. The Team Coordinator will provide oversight of the implementation of Individual Plans and supervise staff. This position requires cooperation with other V&DS staff, staff from Residential Services, staff from other agencies, and family members/advocates for the people supported by V&DS. The Team Coordinator also serves as the primary liaison between volunteer coordinators and community based employers with V&DS. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate creativity and problem solving skills as well as being highly organized. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Vocational & Day Services.  Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or any other relevant field plus 3 years of relevant professional experience or High School diploma plus 7 years relevant professional experience (30 relevant credit hours may be substituted for 1 year experience). Supervisory experience is a plus. The successful applicant will also need to demonstrate excellent communication skills both oral and written. A valid MD/VA/DC driver’s license is required.
