Workforce Development Administrator (Full-time)
Vocational & Day Services is looking for a motivated, energetic person to serve as a Workforce Development Administrator.  Responsibilities include networking with the business community to create job opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  The Workforce Development Administrator will procure and develop contracts and oversee the start-up of new work sites.  The ideal candidate will have a background in sales, marketing and/or employment development and a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 6 years of relevant professional, administrative, or supervisory experience. Community Support Professional (Full-time)
Vocational & Day Services has an exciting position for individual to work with Recreational Crew.  This position requires a creative, flexible, outgoing, reliable, organized, and patient individual willing to make community connections on a daily basis while fostering our agency’s philosophy of inclusion at varied locations in the community. Support Professional (Full-time)
Vocational & Day Services has vacancy for person who will be responsible for supervising work placements in the community and/or assigned jobs.  The goal is to develop and manage supported employment work and/or in-house production work. Respite Recruiter (Part-time)
The Arc Montgomery County’s Respite Services is looking for highly organized individual to be a team player and be responsible for recruiting and registering qualified Respite Care Providers, Health Care Professionals and Staffing Agencies. Assistant Director of Residential Services (Full-time)
The Arc Montgomery County’s Residential Services has an exciting, professional opportunity for a highly organized, enthusiastic individual who is able to multi-task and oversee a subdivision of the Residential Services Division.  The Assistant Director of Residential Program Services is responsible for assisting the Director of Residential Services in managing the agency’s residential services in accordance to the Developmental Disabilities Administration and Montgomery County Group Home Licensing and Guidelines.  The Assistant Director will ensure that the individuals served receive quality support services that are inclusive for all people.  In conjunction with the Residential Recruiter Scheduler, will hire, train and supervise qualified staff to include 3 Residential Team Coordinators and Residential Support Staff who will execute the support services identified in the Individual Plan (IP) for each participant served.  The Assistant Director is responsible for the management and oversight of approximately 14 homes, 40 program participants and 30 plus staff including full-time, part-time and on-call staff. Team Coordinator (Full time)
The Arc Montgomery County’s Residential Services has vacancy for energetic person who will be responsible for all day to day operations of the particular homes he/she are assigned to, including, but not limited to:  staff supervision, acting as agency/community liaison, family support, and support to other supervisory agents as directed.  He/She will ensure homes are attractive, clean, safe, and that they foster an atmosphere that promotes positive growth and development.  The Team Coordinator will support individual choice as identified by the team in the Individual Plan (IP).  He/She will follow COMAR regulations, HIPPA regulations, DDA standards, legal guidelines and other regulatory standards.  The Team Coordinator is responsible for the oversight and supervision of the Residential Support Staff (RSS) and will serve as a role model for quality service delivery.  The Team Coordinator will be responsible for carrying out the mission of the agency as it relates to inclusion for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Training and Placement Coordinator (Full-time)
The Arc Montgomery County’s Business Services is searching for a motivated, organized, energetic person to serve as the Training and Placement Coordinator for the Transitioning Youth Retail Project (TYRP). TYRP is a new, grant-funded project that will train young adults (ages 18-24) with mild Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) to successfully work in the retail sector. Under the supervision of the Project Director, the Training and Placement Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and oversight of the program. Responsibilities include direct management of and participation in the classroom, direct provision of employment supports, and participation in follow-up employment supports. The successful applicant will have experience serving the I/DD population, be able to demonstrate creativity and problem-solving skills as well as be highly organized. Bachelor’s degree (in Social Work, Psychology, Teaching or any other relevant field) plus 3 years relevant professional experience in Human Resources, program/project coordination, employment development, training and/or coaching is desirable.  Experience in retail environments a big plus! The successful applicant will also need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both oral and written. A valid MD/VA/DC driver’s license is also required. Collections Accountant (Full-time)

The Arc Montgomery County’s Finance Division has vacancy for team player who is experienced in cash recording activities and collections efforts from government agencies and understands a balance sheet for account analysis and reconciliation. This includes, but is not exclusive to, ensuring the security of assets delivered to the office, making timely bank deposits, recording cash and non-cash receipts to proper customer accounts in the sub-ledger, and ensuring timely collections of receivable assets.  Must be highly motivated and self-starter with developed skills to interact with senior and executive management.
