Team Leader (Full-time)
Vocational and Day Services Division has an exciting position for a dynamic, energetic person with strong supervisory skills. The Team Leader is responsible for the direction, supervision, and overall management of the program and staff to which assigned, and is responsible for the oversight and implementation of Individual Plans. The Team Leader is the primary “manager” through whom the strategic plan is conveyed and implemented each day by direct-line staff. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 3 years of relevant experience; or high school diploma or GED equivalency plus 7 years relevant experience required. Center Based Job Coach (Full-time)
Vocational and Day Services Division has vacancy for individual who has AA degree or 60 credit hours in a habilitative, rehabilitative, human services or vocational discipline, plus three years relevant experience; High school diploma or GED equivalency plus five years relevant experience; or at least 18 years of age and six years of experience (five of which must be relevant experience). 30 relevant credit hours may be substituted for one year of experience. Experience in contract work, job and skill development and behavior management experience is a plus. Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds and be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing, frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pulling and pushing. Supported Employment Job Coach—Floater (Full-time)
The Floater Job Coach will act as substitute job coach. He/she will be trained in all supported employment job sites and all programs relevant to Vocational Services. The Floater will receive a weekly schedule of where he/she is expected to work. This individual must be flexible as schedules will change with little or no notice. Hours will vary and will include early morning and evening hours. Floater must also be organized to maintain information about the various sites, and be able to learn quickly. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about the many facets of Vocational Services. Bus Aide (Part-time and substitute)
Transportation department has position to assist in transporting program participants to and from work 15 to 25 hours per week. The van aide assists the driver in ensuring a safe, calm and orderly loading, transport and off-load procedure for all participants. Van aides must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds; must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing, frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pulling and pushing. Behavior Specialist (Part-time)
The Arc Montgomery County has an exciting new position for person who will be responsible for developing behavior support plans to enable individuals exhibiting challenging behaviors to achieve personal goals through a variety of supports. Collections Accountant (Full-time)
Responsible for all safeguarding, recording, and monitoring of cash, credit, wire transfers, and other receipts of posted revenue within the policies and procedures established by the organization. Disbursements Accountant (Full-time)
Responsible for implementing and maintaining a system for all liabilities of the organization. The Disbursement Accountant ensures proper authorizations have been obtained in accordance with budget, program manager approval, finance department approval, and service performance in agreement with invoices. Contract Administrator (Full-time)
Responsible for contract maintenance of filing, recording and updating of records to ensure proper billing is in accordance with guidelines established by the Controller.
