Duck Festival

Duck Festival

Saturday, April 28, 2018, 9:30 am-12 Noon

The Arc Montgomery County Duck Festival is a fun afternoon filled with FREE entertainment and activities for the entire family! Children enjoy face painting, “chuck-a-duck” and other carnival-style games.  Family-friendly performers entertain the crowd. Quacky (our duck mascot) spreads goodwill by posing for photos and giving hugs and high-fives. And the best part is spectators cheering as a diver "swims" through 5,000 bright yellow rubber ducks, plucking out a special few to win prizes for their adoptive families.

And most importantly, people learn how they can support unique programs for children with and without disabilities and special health care needs in Montgomery County, because this event benefits The Arc Montgomery County's programs for children and youth.  Everyone is welcome and we encourage people to come out and put some FUN into our fundraising!

Interested in volunteering at the Duck Festival?  All volunteers must be at least 14 years old and receive SSL hours and a free t-shirt!  Check back in March 2019 for more details.
