The Arc Montgomery County Karasik and Family, Infant & Child Care Center is an inclusive, family-centered child care program integrating typically-developing children, children with developmental disabilities and children with chronic medical conditions. The staff includes pediatric registered nurses, trained child care providers, and a family worker who provides case management services. Every child enrolled at KFICCC has the opportunity to thrive.
Classrooms are divided so each child is placed on individual needs, rather than strictly on chronological age. The progressive, well-equipped program is funded through private paying clients and grants from the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the Maryland State Department of Education. Parents can also apply to other agencies for grants to help defray the cost of care.
Family, Infant & Child Care Center is licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 am-6 pm, 12 months
