   The weight of grief in losing a person you support may feel heavy and ho
 w that loss is processed is unique to each individual.  For some\, it is h
 elpful and meaningful to work with a professional in a safe and supportive
  environment to guide the healing process and discuss strategies to naviga
 te their grief. \n\nFor support staff who have experienced a recent loss a
 nd would like grief support\, The Arc Montgomery County is providing two o
 pportunities to meet in a virtual group setting to work with a grief suppo
 rt counselor.\n\nIf you are interested in participating\, please attend on
 ly one of the sessions below.\n\nEach session will be led by Vicki Pendlet
 on\, a grief support counselor with a master’s in social work and divinity
  and an ordained minister.  Previously\, Ms. Pendleton worked with The Arc
  as our agency trainer.  She then went on to work with the Jubilee Associa
 tion of Maryland in several roles including Leadership Development Trainer
 /Coach\, Director of Program Services\, and as a grief support provider.\n
