Inclusion Workshop Series presented by Childcare Directors
This four-part series (must enroll for all four) is designed to empower child care directors to make their centers more inclusive, enrolling children with disabilities or chronic medical conditions.
Session 1 at Calhoun address (7362 Calhoun Place): Tuesday September 15, 1-3 pm "The Laws and Resources"
Session 2 at Calhoun address: Wednesday October 14, 1-3 pm “Building an Inclusive Team”
Session 3 at Calhoun address: Thursday November 12, 1-3 pm “Universal Design for Learning”
Session 4 at KFICCC*: Tuesday December 15, 9:30-11:30 am "The Real World"

The first three in-person workshops will be offered by our Director of Children & Youth Services, Doreen Engel, at our Rockville office. Our final workshop will be taught by both of our skilled administrators: KFICCC Center Director, Renee Zapadka, and our Assistant Director, Breanna Tavernier. You will be able to see our classrooms and observe our team and students as they spend their day learning!
