In accordance with the latest CDC guidelines, effective March 29, 2022, The Arc Montgomery County has made the following changes to COVID-19 policies for people supported by Employment & Meaningful Day Services and Inclusive Living Services.
- People supported are not required to wear masks at any site operated by The Arc or in the community unless the community site requires masking.
- People supported are encouraged, but not required, to wear masks while riding in a vehicle owned or operated by The Arc.
- People supported in Community Living may resume visits with family and friends.
- Visitors to Community Living homes are required to wear a surgical, N95, or KN95 mask. Cloth masks are not acceptable.

The Arc Montgomery County supports adults with disabilities by providing job skills training, employment, community volunteer and recreational opportunities, community living services (housing), and advocacy. Adult services (except for respite) require approval for funding from Maryland's Developmental Disabilities Administration.
