How To Help

Welcome Home

Welcome Home

For 65 years, The Arc Montgomery County has been providing service to the community, supporting more than 4,000 people annually with a broad range of comprehensive services. Currently, over 100 residents with disabilities live in our network of 30+ single-family homes, townhomes, or condos spread across the county. At these homes, there is an emphasis on individualized support, including personalized care, use of community services, recreation, meal preparation, financial management, and more.

Newly launched in 2023, Welcome Home is The Arc’s corporate social responsibility partnership initiative, bringing together area businesses with our homes for an ongoing annual volunteer commitment.

  • We work with you to create an individual corporate volunteer strategy that leverages the unique skill sets of your employees with the needs of people living in our homes.
  • We offer an individualized training and engagement event with your employees to support their understanding of The Arc, our definition of inclusion, and brainstorming how their efforts can be applied to the partnership.
  • We create visibility for your brand by sharing your support on social media, our website, in emails, newsletters, and our annual report.
  • You will experience a boost in employee engagement that demonstrates your business’ commitment to social responsibility.
  • You will receive invites to an annual celebration recognizing your efforts and ongoing commitment.
