For almost 60 years, The Arc Montgomery County has supported children, youth, adults, seniors and families affected by disabilities like autism and Down syndrome, by providing child care, work skills training, employment, community living services, resources, respite care and advocacy.
What started as an idea 60 years ago has blossomed into a life-changing nonprofit for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

We are always trying to capture the essence of our work, as people develop relationships with other people in the community, are recognized for their achievements, and speak out for what's important in their lives.

Wings for All® is a program that provides children and adults with I/DD a "practice" opportunity to experience sometimes challenging aspects of airline travel at an airport—parking, check-in, security, boarding the aircraft, etc.—interacting with airport personnel along the way.
