A collection of inclusive, low-cost recreational activities for children, youth, adults and their families.  Many activities require advance registration; please view the activity web link for additional details (click on the orange title of each activity).


  • March 16, 10 am, FREE, All Ages
    Enjoy some green fun while celebrating St. Patrick's Day, with a parade and lots of free entertainment. Rio Washingtonian Center, Gaithersburg, MD

  • Through March 10, 8 am-9 pm, FREE, All Ages
    Four sports photojournalists team up to present their reflections on the stories behind the sporting news. Activity Center at Bohrer Park, Gaithersburg, MD

  • March 1, 6-7 pm, $15, Ages 21+
    Enjoy an hour of Yoga powered by Thrive Yoga, and follow it up with a beer (first beer included in fee). True Respite Brewing Company, Rockville, MD

  • Every Saturday, 9-10:15 am, FREE, Teens and Adults
    Come out and run or walk at your own pace in this weekly, timed 5K run/walk on Rock Creek Trail. Registration required. Rock Creek Trail, Bethesda/Kensington, MD

  • March 16 and 17, 10 am-6 pm, $6 for adults FREE for kids under 12, All Ages
    See worldwide treasurers as over 40 exhibitors show items including fluorescent minerals. Free parking, food for sale, and workshops. No registration required, but get $1 off the ticket price if you book online. Montgomery County Fairgrounds, Gaithersburg, MD
