A collection of inclusive, low-cost recreational activities for children, youth, adults and their families.  Many activities require advance registration; please view the activity web link for additional details.

  • April 29, Time-12pm-4pm ,Free
    All kinds of family fun will start at noon on Veterans Plaza in downtown Silver Spring, MD, including face painting, photo opportunities with Quacky (our mascot) and live family-friendly entertainment. The duck dive (prize selection) will be held at approximately 3:30 pm.

  • April 1- April 25 Time Varies Daily, All shows $5 for children under 12
    Come celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day with a day of family fun events, including a classic car show, a dog show, and a Saint Patrick’s Day Parade. Silver Spring, MD

  • April 8, Time 10:00 am-5:00 pm, $9/child, $7/adult
    Bunnyland will be open only on April 8, 9, 14, 15, (closed Easter Sunday), 17, 21, 22 & 23.
    Come enjoy a hayride down the Bunny Trail, hunt for colorful eggs, visit with the farm’s very own Country Bunny, ride pedal tractors, play in hayromp and playground, ride the giant slides and race in the Rubber Duck Derby! Germantown, MD

  • April 15, Time 1:00-4:00 pm, Free
    You are invited to a celebrate Easter with us! there will be over 50,000 Easter Eggs! Food Trucks, Face Painting, Bounce Houses, and a lot more! Germantown, MD

  • April 21-23, Time-10:00am-6:00pm, Cost - Adults- $8/$10.

    The 18th annual Bethesda Literary Festival will host an array of local ,national authors, journalists and poets, as well as writing contests & poetry contests. Bethesda, MD

    A family friendly expo of healthy living and exercise to encourage girls and women to be more active. There are demos, participation prizes, and opportunities to try new workouts.Silver Spring, MD
