Board & Committee Volunteers
The Board of Directors is composed of volunteers from all walks of life, including self-advocates, family members, professionals in the developmental disabilities field, and concerned citizens with no direct knowledge of the needs of people with disabilities, but who would like to contribute to improving the lives of Montgomery County residents.
Board Committees are small groups of staff and volunteers, led by a Chair who also serves on the Board of Directors. These committees help to guide the mission of the agency by engaging in areas such as finance, governance, public policy and quality assurance. They share their conclusions and recommendations with the Board of Directors for final decision.
